The Rose Festival, event organized in Kutno House of Culture since 1975.  Local rose and decorative shrubs planters present their most beautiful specimens in the most unique plastic arrangements. This event is accompanied by garden, trade and exhibition fairs, music concerts, numerous festivities also for children. The late Bolesław Wituszyński, a great lover of beautiful flowers was one of the initiators of this holiday. Kutno cooperates with Polish Floristic Club SITO from Warsaw – Chairman Anna Nizińska and Lithuania florist – Marijus Gvildys. 

All-Polish Recitation Contest is a regular event which is being held for over 20 years. From the organizers point of view it should propagate literature among highschooler’s from city and region as well as among adults. Participants of recitation, sang poetry and one actor theater contests are winners of provincial, interprovincial and all-Polish contests.

Summer artistic meetings are organized in the form of workshops. Within two vacation weeks there are classes covering various art disciplines: theater, plastic arts and dance. Outcome of this works can be seen on post-workshop exhibitions. Classes are run by qualified and experienced personnel.

The Children Theaters Review "Łapa" has been organized for several years on the end of May and beginning of June. It serves as a showcase of school and common room theaters, groups operating in culture centers from this region.Both youth and adult jury grants awards and honorable mentions for specific artistic or educational values of presented performances.

Carnival balls are organized annually at the Kutno House of Culture. It is a thematic costume ball for children with contests, games and plays.

Confrontations of various kinds of dances -  dance meetings with competition character for children and youth teams that presents various types and structures of dance and moves.

All-Polish convivial dance tournament of the Mayor of Kutno Bumper  is an individual  tournament with scores, plazed amicably with PTT regulations in 12 categories. In 2007 174 couples took part in it. 

“The Golden Mean of Poetry” 2-days festival which is an annual word art ceremony of regional , all-Polish and international size. It’s form comprise author evenings, concerts, performances, poetry, book bazaars, happenings, etc. Untill now many interesting guests had visited Kutno such as Ryszard Krynicki, Urszula Kozioł, Jerzy Czech.Moreover, there also took place The Poetry Meetings and One Poem Open competitions.


“Kutno Station” - Jeremi Przybora All-Polish Song Competition 
“Why Kutno? and why Przybora? Kutno is associated with what? Basically with the station, where trains from Warsaw-Berlin or Gdańsk – Kraków stay. For the visitors this is a town, which character assign the Railway Station.  Jeremi Przybora had been writting in a beautiful way about journeys, unknown traveles and home comebacks... "
Young vocalists from whole Poland can take part in forementoned competition. The jury grants the awards on the total amount of 6000pln: The Mayor of Kutno Award. Untill now “Kutno Station” Competition had been visited by: Grażyna Łobaszewska, Anna Szłapak, Katarzyna Groniec, Lora Szfran, Roman Kołakowski, Straszni Panowie Trzej.

At the Kutno House of Culture building there are various sections of cultural and educational character. The most common one is the theatrical group called “Od jutra”. There are also following sections such as: Puszek Story Theatre, Plastic Section, Literary and Journalists Section, Ecology section, D.N.A. Laboratory, modern dance section, breakdance section or the editor`s office of teenage quarterly magazine: “stopy kalijopy”, .
Worth mentioning is als that Kutno House of Culture has an auditorium for about 400 visitors and modern sound system equipment.
