SPECIAL SCHOOL - EDUCATIONAL CENTER IN KUTNO is a post for mentally disabled children. It focuses elementary, middle, vocational special school. Inclusively there are 29 departaments in which 266 is being teached. Principle of program in which pupils are included is socialisation along with creating their self - counsciousness, self - control and independent functioning in and outside home; to recap: their maximum mental development. The post has also well qualified personnel departament. Communitive pupils has dormitory to their disposal. Near the Center is placed: Regional Bureau of Province Special Olimpics - Poland Łódź Departament of Sports Association for moderately mentally disabled people, Sports Club of Polish Social - Sports Society "Sprawni Razem" ("Deft Together") for lightly mentally disabled people, Students Sports Club of Special School - Educational center nr1 in Kutno called "Pantery" ("Panthers"). In Special School - Educational Center for Barely Hearing in Kutno is 9 departaments in which 60 students are being teached.
Type of school included to the Center: elementary and middle school. Dormitory is located near school. In area of the Center are: School`s Sports Club for Barely Hearing "Lwy"("Lions"), the theatral and modeler`s section as well as the scouting troop "Szare Wilki" ("Grey Wolves"). 

 

SPECIAL SCHOOL - EDUCATIONAL CENTER IN NOWA WIEŚ NEAR KUTNO for children and youth with behavioral and emotional disorders and focuses special elementary and middle school. Altogether there are five demartaments in which 49 pupils are being teached. School has a dormitory. On city terrain there is a psychological - pedagogical clinic. Help form consists of indivudual and group therapeutic classes. Amongst them: corrective-compensative classes, logopedic, sociotherapy, therapy for potential addictive. Counseling service also organises youth workshops. It concerns following issues: integration, antistressive and addiction problems, solving conflicts, way of menaging symptoms of aggression, feelings, asserivity. Moreover, in the framework of it`s activity clinic cooperates with teachers and parents by organising workshops which expands educational skills as well as the communication between addicted and non-addicted people.
